FAQ

Do I have to order prints through KZO Photography?

You need to order prints through KZO Photography if you chose the standard package as the package does not include a print release. However, if you chose the deluxe or ultimate package a print release is included, or you have a option to order prints through us at an additional fee.

What is a print release?

A print release is a signed document from KZO Photography which gives you permission to make unlimited prints at anytime and any photo lab of your choosing. This allows you budget the amount and sizes of prints you wish to have.

Can more digital images be added to my package than what is listed in the package details?

Absolutely! We can add additional retouched images to your package for an additional fee. Please let us know if you interested in doing so.

What does 'all prices are subject to change' mean?

The price listed on the package you chose is the price strictly for the items listed in the package. Prices are subject to change if the shooting location is more than 30 miles away from our home. Prices are also subject to change if you would like a customized set up, order additional shooting time, if you choose to order prints, photo albums, or keepsakes. Prices may also change due to extra costs to the photographer such as parking, admission fees, etc.

About Portrait Session:

Location -

Finding the perfect location is an important part of planning for your photo shoot. I have a list of recommendations, and usually make a suggestion during our consultation based on what you are seeking, but I will always welcome your location ideas. I’d love to know if there is a place that is sentimental to your family so we can discuss our options, and plan the best location to suit your family.

Clothing -

-Think coordinating, not matching. Incorporate colors and patterns that fit well together.

-Don’t be afraid of color! Choose a few neutral colors, and then add a few bright accents to your outfits. Accessories such as scarves, necklaces, and clothing layers are great for this.

-Wear well fitting clothing. Not too tight, and nothing baggy. If you can’t walk in those pants, don’t wear them!

-No logos please. To keep the look timeless, try to avoid trendy clothing with words or logos.

-Always feel free to text, or e-mail me photos of your clothing options before our session.

Children -

-Get your kids excited for the session, and let them know how much fun it will be, but no need to over prepare them, or add too much pressure for their "best behavior."

-Kids pick up on your stress, so stay cool, even when they throw a tantrum.

-Our goal is to capture their true expressions, and keeping it light, and fun is essential to that.

-Our best behaved children (and adults for that matter) are usually those that are well fed, and well rested before the session. Feel free to bring snacks to reward good behavior during our session.
